お香を焚く香炉です。お掃除するときにお香を焚いて香りもほんのり残るように。

決して、灰皿ではございませんので、よろしくお願いしますm(__)m

禁煙ですし（笑）

It is an incense burner. When we clean the house we burn some incense so that a nice perfume will stay in the house. It is by no means an ashtray ! And our machiya are non-smoking ahah.

C’est un bruleur d’encens ! Quand on fait le menage on en brule pour parfumer. Ce n’est absolument pas un cendrier ! En plus les maisons sont non-fumeur ahah.
