It snowed today in the north of Kyoto, it looked like the mountains were made of silver. During these cold Kyoto days, I recommend eating tanuki udon. In Kyoto tanuki udon is a type of udon noodles topped with tempura crumbs and a lot of onions. There is also a lot of ginger which warms you up from the inside, perfect on cold days.

A Kyoto quand on parle de tanuki udon, on parle d’un type de nouilles sur lesquelles on met beaucoup de panure de tempura et d’onions nouveaux. Il y aussi beaucoup de gingembre ce qui rechauffe de l’interieur.
